Custom Orders
If you don’t find your dream cake in our cake catalog, feel free to fill out our cake inquiry form or email us at hello@thecakepharmacy.com. In your email inquiry, please include:

The date and time you need to pick up your order

Any other extra information that would help us create the perfect treats for your event
If you are ordering a custom treat from TCP, it will be 100% unique. We do not copy another baker’s design. Instead, we will take your photos as inspiration to help us design a custom treat that is perfect for you and your event.
We have our own signature style that we add to our treats. If you are looking to place an order with us, you must trust us with our creativity and ideas.
Prices are non-negotiable.

Payments
Website Orders (Online)
All website orders are paid in full at checkout.
Custom Orders
All custom orders require a 50% deposit to secure your date. Orders are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Your date is only reserved once the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance is due via e-transfer 1 hour before pickup time, or may be paid in cash at pickup (as confirmed in advance).
If the remaining balance is not received by the required time, The Cake Pharmacy reserves the right to refuse release of the order until payment has been received.
Our Products
Your treats may not look exactly the same as the photos you see on our website. Although they are our designs, it is normal for there to be some differences with each treat we bake.
Getting colours to be an exact shade is also difficult. Please be specific when describing the colour you are looking for, and we will do our best to match.
Colour Disclaimer: If you are looking for a cake with a vibrant or deep colour (black, red, blue, etc.), we use a lot of food colouring to achieve the shade. Because of this, the taste and texture may be altered, and colours may stain teeth and mouths.
Ordering Timelines
For any orders placed on our website, we require a minimum of 5 days notice. You can book up to 60 days in advance.
For all custom orders, we require a minimum of 7 days notice. If no deposit is received before 7 days of the requested pickup date, the order will be considered late.
Late order fees:

Late website/catalog cakes, cupcakes, or cookies: +$15 late fee

Late custom cakes: +$20 late fee
Pick Up
Pick up is at Paz Fuels (27988 Fraser Hwy, Abbotsford).
All orders are to be picked up at the date and time you have selected. If you have become unavailable for your requested pick up date, please email hello@thecakepharmacy.com to discuss options.
What happens if I don’t show up for the scheduled pickup time and haven’t contacted us?

You have a 10-minute window to arrive at Paz Fuels to pick up your order.

If you do not arrive within 10 minutes, you may be able to schedule another pickup time later in the day, pending our availability. Rescheduled pick up is NOT guaranteed.

If we do not hear from you within the 10-minute window, you will have 2 hours from the pickup time to schedule a new time, if we are available.

If we still do not hear from you, your order will be cancelled with no refund.
Pick up in Surrey (15970 96 Ave, Surrey, BC V4N 2R8) is available pending our availability. If you are looking for Surrey pick up, please send us an email with what you would like to order, as well as the date/time you are looking for.
· Pickup is available only at the designated pickup locations listed by The Cake Pharmacy in Abbotsford or Surrey, unless delivery has been arranged and paid for in advance.
· Requests to meet at any other location are not included, even if the requested location is more convenient for the client.
· Any alternate meet-up location, if approved at my sole discretion, will be subject to an additional fee and must be arranged in advance.
· Last-minute changes to pick up location may not be accommodated.
Delivery
Delivery is available for custom orders only and includes an additional fee. Please inquire for delivery availability and pricing.
Changes & Alterations (Custom Orders)
Minor changes (colour theme, message, shape) can be requested up to 7 days prior to the pickup/delivery date.
Major changes (images, serving sizes, toppers) requested after this deadline may incur additional charges and may not be possible depending on progress.
Any changes within 72 hours of pickup will incur additional charges.
Specific policies regarding custom cakes are detailed in the contract sent to clients. In the event of any conflict, the contract terms will apply.
Returns / Refunds / Exchanges
Given the perishable nature of cakes and other treats, we cannot ensure the preservation of their quality once they leave our premises. Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
However, if you find yourself unsatisfied with your treats or they do not match your expectations, please email hello@thecakepharmacy.com within 3 days of your pickup date. Your email must include:

Photos of the product (including packaging)

A thorough description of the issue

How the product was transported and stored
Depending on the circumstances, we may offer a credit toward a future order.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to hello@thecakepharmacy.com.
Website Orders (Online)
Because these are made to order, cancellations may not be possible once production has started. Please email us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate depending on timing.
Custom Orders

If cancellation occurs 7 days or more before the pickup/delivery date, the client is not responsible for the remaining balance.

If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the pickup/delivery date, the deposit becomes non-refundable and the client is responsible for the full remaining balance.
Liability and Disclaimers
The Cake Pharmacy shall not be liable for any damages or injuries that occur after delivery/pick up or due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to transportation issues and improper storage by the Client.
By placing an order or paying a deposit, the client acknowledges they have read and understood these policies and agree to be bound by them.
